Isabel Hechinger
Pregnancy Center Program Assistant
Isabel joined NWC as the Pregnancy Center Program Assistant in August 2022. A Maryland native, she graduated from from Salisbury University with a degree in Public Health. During her senior year of college in the fall of 2021, Isabel was the NWC Pregnancy Center Intern. She brings experience in health education and child care and a deep passion for supporting mothers and children. She is excited to be back at NWC on staff!
Norma Cindy Canedo
Bilingual Family Support Worker
Norma is Bolivian-American, born in Maryland, and has lived most of her life in DC. Norma graduated from Catholic University of America with a BA in Psychology. She was previously volunteering with The Northwest Center as a Spanish counselor for six years before joining the staff in September 2020. Norma also works for a social justice ministry at a local church, which includes services for families in need, the homeless community, and a pro-life ministry. She is grateful to be able to serve the Hispanic community as the Center's Bilingual Family Support Worker.
